A Little Bit About Me
Salam..
I am seeking a serious honest relationship based on human connection and shared values.
Companionship/quality time is important to me hence you will need to be able to spend regular time together (weekend focussed) while we get to know each other, hopefully creating something lifelong and beyond. For that to happen you will need to live within reasonable travel distance to Brighton in the UK as I have an established life here and do not enjoy commuting any long distance.

A little bit about me….I love to be outside connecting with nature, love walking/light hiking, listening to music, art and cooking and I do charity work and I try and do my bit to stand up against injustice.
I have a passion for travel and would love that special person to share some adventures with me.
I am quite health conscious and generally not a sit at home / do nothing person but I also enjoy quiet time for reflection and relaxation.
Personality wise I have also been described as slightly reserved but confident, positive, fun/adventure loving, empathetic, moderate, dependable, caring, very loyal and loving, with high values. I am not materialistic but I am blessed with a reasonably comfortable lifestyle.

I am a fairly recent convert to Islam but, thanks to a support network, I am increasingly confident in my faith while being on my own journey at my own pace. I am open minded and curious, quite spiritual and love to engage in the occasional deep conversation. I am respectful of different cultures but I do bring my own North European / British culture. I have lived in the UK for most of my adult life.

I have 2 grown up children, which are independent and settled with their own family in London and Kent . I do spend regular time with them and also with my very good friends ….many of them non muslim.
I still have some family living in Germany who I visit at least once a year.
Of course I would be ok with any reasonable personal,family or part time child care commitments you may have yourself.

What I Am Looking For
So what am I looking for:

You should be fairly easy going and open minded, enjoy light hearted humour and banter, be a good listener /communicator and be able to hold a conversation. You should be exposed to and integrated in western culture, be practising your religion, look after your health and wellbeing, be fairly calm and not loud, confident but not overbearing or possessive, considerate, caring, supportive, kind, loyal and tactile, gentle and still interested in a physical relationship.
I would also like you to be financially independent and able to make time and be interested in travel.

In the medium term I would want us to maintain our own individual place /space, but spend regular frequent time together at each others places as we agree (incl. UK -Nikah!). You need to be ok with that. If you have connections abroad I may (depending on where) be open in the future to also spend short intervals at abroad but would I not re-locate abroad or to a different region of UK.

Of course it is unlikely that anyone would tick all the boxes of my wish list and this may not be the place to find that person, but there is no harm in trying and only Allah knows best!
